Welcome
Jordan Ultimate is a club athletic program based at Jordan High School in Durham, North Carolina. We are a strong community of one to three teams (depending on the time of year and number of players) of high school athletes competing in a high school league and club tournaments. The majority of players are Jordan students, however, when permissible we welcome "free agents" from other local high schools that do not have a team. We are known as the Jordan Dirty Birds. We work hard and play hard. Stay dirty!
HISTORY
Jordan Ultimate started at Jordan High in 1999 as a small club, giving students who wanted to learn to play, or already played, an avenue for coaching and competition during the school year. As the sport gained in popularity in the Triangle, so did the team at Jordan.
From 2021-2022 to 2022-2023 we grew from one mixed team to three teams (open/capital, developmental, and girls.)
The Dirty Birds are 5X North Carolina High School Open Champs (2000, 2018, 2021, 2022 & 2023) and NC High School Girls Champs (2023). We are consistently ranked nationally. Our alumni include several Junior World Champions and U20 National team players, and many current college players across the country!
CORE VALUES
We believe:
that everyone can play and contribute to the team
in the spirit of the game with respect amongst players, love of the sport, and leaving the game on the field
players know themselves best and our girl matching players are welcome to play on any of our teams!
WHY JORDAN
*Inclusive*Fun*Competitive*
And because the flamingo is the unofficial mascot of the Dirty Birds.
